NFL: the three games in London in 2016 could be streamed by Apple or Google

The NFL wants to broadcast, via free live-streaming without geographical restrictions, the three regular season games to be held at Wembley Stadium (90,000 seats) and at Twickenham (82,000 seats) in London (ENG) in Fall 2016, according to the American news agency Reuters on 08/01/2016.

The league of American football in the US is negotiating with technology companies Apple (via the Apple TV broadcast platform) and Google (owner of YouTube) for the live-stream broadcast of one, two or three games, according to Reuters.

Buffalo Bills - Jacksonville Jaguars (31-34), the first NFL game broadcast exclusively via free live-streaming and without geographic restrictions, drew 15.2 million unique users on the different platforms Yahoo!, on Sunday 25/10/2015 (kick-off at 15:30 CET, at Wembley Stadium).

NFL targeting millions of households that do not subscribe to American pay-TV, and wants to expand its audience internationally
