FIFA: Prince Ali wants transparent booths to prevent the recording of votes (via smartphones)

"Anxious to see the next election of the FIFA president (on 26/02/2016) conducted in an exemplary manner, Prince Ali of Jordan has asked for transparent booths to be put in place," explained Francis Szpiner to News Tank Football on 19/02/2016. Szpiner is a lawyer for Prince Ali Bin Al Hussein, one of five candidates for the FIFA presidency.

In the previous election held on 29/05/2015, some voters used their smartphone to record evidence of their vote, via a photo or video. Cell phones and cameras will also be allowed in the polling booths during the elective Extraordinary FIFA Congress held in Zurich (SUI) on 26/02/2016.

"With a letter dated 15/02/2016, Mr. Domenico Scala, chairman of the FIFA Ad-hoc Electoral Committee, has admitted that the voters could, through their mobile phones in particular, record evidence of their vote .
