Panama Papers: M. Platini says that all his accounts and assets are known to Swiss tax authorities

"Following the information provided as part of the so-called 'Panama Papers' investigation, Michel Platini wishes to reiterate, as he has repeatedly stated to journalists of this investigation, that all of his accounts and assets are known to Swiss tax authorities, the country in which he has been a tax resident since 2007," wrote, in a statement on 03/04/2016, Michel Platini, the UEFA president who has been suspended since 08/10/2015.

"This is the largest data breach in the history of journalism. Le Monde and 106 media outlets had access to nearly 11.5 million documents of from one of the world champions in the creation of offshore companies, the Panamanian Mossack Fonseca," wrote the French daily Le Monde about the "Panama Papers" investigation, published on 03/04/2016.

"The documents are spread out from 1977 to 2015. They show that heads of state, billionaires, big bosses, sports figures, culture figures, finance figures consorting, with the help of certain banks and companies, to conceal their assets," added Le Monde.
