Briton Jonathan Gregory has been appointed the commercial director of Leicester City FC (Premier League) announced specialised UK media on 24/11/2016. He succeeds the Irishman Ian Flanagan, who was in office since August 2012, and who takeover football manager positions in the London office of the Treble Group, a South African marketing and media rights agency.

Jonathan Gregory held the position of global director of partnerships within the Ambassador Theatre Group since May 2015. He was previously the commercial director of Fulham FC (Championship) from 2011 to 2014, oversaw the redevelopment of Wembley Stadium (2003-2009), and was director of sports marketing at Puma (2001-2003).

Jonathan Gregory will be responsible for developing the commercial income of the 2015-16 Premier League champions, particularly in Asia, where King Power, the Thai retail group, develops its sponsorship activities of Leicester City FC since it acquired the club 2010.

At Leicester City FC, Jonathan Gregory should be under the direct responsibility of Susan Whelan, the executive director of the club.
