Pedophilia in English football: "The biggest crisis I remember" (Greg Clarke, FA chairman)

"I think it's certainly the biggest crisis I can remember," said Greg Clarke, FA President on the 29/11/2016 about the scandal that has shook English football, with pedophilia charges committed by academy educators from the 1970s to 1990s.

In total, more than 350 potential victims have contacted the police since the first revelations of Andy Woodward, former player of the club Crewe Alexandra (League Two in 2016-17), in the Guardian newspaper on 16/11/2016. The English Association has opened its own investigation on the subject, conducted by Kate Gallafent, an independent lawyer, said the FA on 27/11/2016.
