FIFA: Ghanaian Anthony Baffoe to join anti-racism and discrimination Task Force

Ghanaian Anthony Baffoe has been appointed member of FIFA's (Fédération Internationale de Football Association) Task Force against racism and discrimination, on the 20/08/2013. The former Ghanaian international defender (13 caps, 1 goal) joined the working group to tackle the problems of discrimination and racism in football. The Task Force is chaired by Jeffrey Webb, FIFA Vice President and CONCACAF (Confederation of Football North America, Central America and the Caribbean) president.

Anthony Baffoe is currently FABP (Professional Footballers Association of Ghana) secretary general.

FIFA Task Force against racism and discrimination was created on the 02/03/2013. The first meeting was held on the 06/05/2013. The working group includes, Kevin-Prince Boateng AC Milan player, Theo Van Seggelen, general secretary of the FIFPro (International Federation of Professional Footballers) and Claudio Sulser, chairman of the FIFA Disciplinary Committee.

The next meeting of the Task Force is scheduled on the 09/12/2013.
