Racism: Lazio ask their supporters about anti-racism slogan to put on shirts for Sunday match

Having been ordered to close the Curva Nord (north stand) of the Olympic Stadium for acts of racism during a match against Udinese, for their first Serie A match of 2013/14, on the 25/08/2013, Roman club Lazio SS (Società Sportiva, the Sports Club) have asked their supporters on their Facebook page on the 22/08/2013, to find an anti-racism slogan to put on the players' shirts on Sunday.

The Lega Calcio (Italian professional football league) had sanctioned Lazio for racist slurs and "monkey chants" uttered against Juventus players, Paul Pogba, Angelo Ogbonna and Kwadwo Asamoah during the Italian Supercup opposing Juventus and Lazio (4-0) played on the 18/08/2013. The appeal filed by Lazio before the Court of Justice of the FIGC (Italian Football Federation) should be studied on the 23/08/2013.

"We want a strong and direct message to reject all forms of racism and discrimination," the club said on the 22/08/2013.
