At €620.2m in 2015-16, FC Barcelona (LaLiga Santander) displayed a turnover of more than 81% of that of Juventus (Serie A TIM), which generated €341.1m, according to figures from the Football Money League 2017 from the audit and consulting firm Deloitte. The two clubs clash at Juventus Stadium in quarter-finals of the 2016-17 Champions League on Tuesday 11/04/2017 (kick-off at 20:45 CET).

The gap, in economic terms, has increased in favour of FC Barcelona in 2015-16 compared to 2014-15; Barcelona had a gap on Juventus of €236.9m (€560.8m compared to €323.9) in 2014-15; whereas the gap was €279.1m in 2015-16 (€620.2m compared to €341.1m). The Catalan club ranks second overall in Europe in terms of 2015-16 revenue, behind only Manchester United (€689m), while Juventus rank tenth.

• Commercial revenue is where Barcelona notably gains an advantage on the Turin club, with €296.1m for the Catalan club in 2015-16, compared to €101.7m for Juventus (+€194.4m to Barcelona).
• In terms of matchday revenue, the advantage is also weighted to Barcelona, despite the excellent fill rate of Juventus…
