LaLiga: signs agreement with J.League on sports management, stadium security, and audiovisual piracy

LaLiga and J.League have signed a joint agreement in Tokyo (Japan) to "share best practices in management, stadium security, and the battle against piracy, among other items," announced the Spanish League on 22/06/2017. The agreement also provides for the development of women's football, as well as the possibility of setting up training academies for young footballers in Japan and Spain, according to LaLiga.

"This Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) provides for the staging of workshops and conferences on strategic matters on which LaLiga has established itself as a leading authority. These range from management to marketing, financial control, administration, and stadium security, to name a few. The institutions will also continue to explore the new challenges facing the football world and the new roles that these will necessitate at clubs. One of the most important aspects of the agreement is the organisations' commitment to fighting piracy hand in hand.
