"It’s not only up to FIFA (Fédération Internationale de Football Association) to implement the key decisions adopted by the Congress with regard to the fight against discrimination and racism. The implementation process needs to be fully supported by all member associations and society as a whole," said Jeffrey Webb, FIFA Vice President and President of the Task Force against racism and discrimination, on the 09/12/2013.

The task force, created on the 02/03/2013, held its second meeting on the 09/12/2013 at FIFA headquarters in Zurich (Switzerland). It identified six priority areas to further intensify the fight against discrimination, and discussed enforcement of sanctions to punish offences.

Joseph Blatter, FIFA president, Claudio Sulser, chairman of FIFA's Disciplinary Committee and Theo Van Seggelen, secretary general of FIFPro (International Federation of Professional Footballers), were present at this particular meeting.
