Cycling: Eurosport extends TV rights to the Tour de France in 38 European countries until 2023

The pay-TV group Eurosport extended its broadcasting rights to the Tour de France cycling event for four more years, for 38 European countries (see below), until 2023, on 21/07/2017. These rights are valid for all channels and digital platforms of the group. The previous agreement was in force until 2019.

This agreement was signed with Amaury Sport Organisation (ASO), the organiser of the cycling event, and the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) (which extended its broadcast rights with ASO for the 2020-2023 period on 01/07/2017), and "also includes the rights of Paris-Roubaix, Liège-Bastogne-Liège, La Flèche Wallonne, Paris-Nice, Critérium du Dauphiné, Paris-Tours, and Frankfurt International GP."
