UEFA has launched a new version of its "Respect" campaign, the social responsibility programme of the governing body of European football, on 23/08/2017. With the slogan and the hashtag "#EqualGame", UEFA intends to promote the values of inclusion, diversity, and accessibility in football.

The slogan "Equal Game" replaces "No to Racism", put forward by UEFA since 2013. The website and the digital campaign "Equal Game" were both launched on 23/08/2017. The slogan will appear on the stadium boards and on the player escorts, as well as in a new TV spot, from 12/09/2017 onwards - which is the first group stage matchday of the 2017-18 Champions League.

"The fight against all forms of discrimination - ethnic, religious, gender - remains of the utmost importance to us. We wished to broaden our message and make it more positive by promoting inclusion. The fight against racism does not end, and it remains our priority, "said UEFA during the launch week of the 2017-18 season for European football clubs in Monaco on 23/08/2017.
