Rugby: Virgin Atlantic (air transport) partner of the Premiership (ENG) until 2018-19

Virgin Atlantic, a British airline, has become a partner of Premiership Rugby for two seasons, until 2018-19, on 24/08/2017. Virgin Atlantic will enjoy the status of official partner, in the first level in the sponsorship hierarchy of Premiership Rugby.

"The global reach of Aviva Premiership Rugby has been boosted over the years and a new broadcast deal with NBC Sports in America means that 30 young American players and coaches will earn Premiership Rugby Scholarships in 2018 where they will be visiting the UK, and the new partnership with Virgin Atlantic will be key in making this happen," said Premiership Rugby, which sold the TV rights to Aviva Premiership in the United States, for the 2016-2019 period, to the American pay-TV group NBC Sports, on 07/03/2016.
