Olympics: Korea Electric Power Corp. (energy) official partner of PyeongChang 2018

Korea Electric Power Corp. (KEPCO), a Korean public energy group, has become a partner in the 2018 Olympic Winter Games in PyeongChang (South Korea), on 23/08/2017. KEPCO will enjoy the status of official partner, in the first level in the sponsorship hierarchy of PyeongChang 2018. The amount of the agreement would amount to $70m (about €60m), according to the Korean daily The Korea Times.

The Korea Electric Power Corporation becomes the first Korean public company to become an official partner of PyeongChang 2018. Under the agreement, the company obtains "a wide range of marketing rights including rights to use the 2018 Olympics logo in their advertising campaigns".
