Ireland: RTÉ acquires TV rights to the national team (2018-2022), including Euro 2020

The Irish public broadcasting group RTÉ has acquired the full audiovisual rights, in Ireland, to Euro 2020, on 23/08/2017. The agreement, signed via CAA Eleven, the UEFA-mandated agency, also includes the qualifying matches of the Irish national team for Euro 2020 and the 2022 World Cup. These rights are valid for TV, radio and digital and mobile platforms.

"RTÉ had already secured rights for Ireland’s remaining 2018 World Cup qualifiers and the coverage of next summer’s finals in Russia, along with the broadcast rights for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar," stated RTÉ, which also broadcast the Euro 2016 matches, including those of the Irish national team.
