2018 World Cup: Russia, Brazil, and Iran already qualified, the other 29 known by November 2017

Russia, as the host country, Brazil (CONMEBOL zone), and Iran (Group A, AFC zone) are the three countries already qualified for the finals of the XXI World Cup, to be held in Russia from 14/06 to 15/07/2018, while the qualifying phase (of which 663 matches have been played - and 1,903 goals scored - during the 2016-17 season) continues in all geographical areas from 29/08/2017 (United Arab Emirates - Saudi Arabia, in Al Ain).

The draw for the final round (distribution of the 32 qualified teams in eight groups of four) will be held at the Kremlin Palace in Moscow (RUS) on Friday, 01/12/2017.

In addition, the World Cup trophy begins a journey through Russia in early September 2017. The route of this great tour was unveiled on 07/07/2017 at the Lujniki Stadium in Moscow, where the final of this FIFA competition will take palce. During a 123-day journey lasting more than 26,000 kilometers, the trophy will stop in 24 Russian cities, from Vladivostok, in the far east of the country, to Kaliningrad, the westernmost of the host cities.
