2017-18 Bundesliga: Nike (6 clubs) most present equipment supplier, €118m total to the 18 clubs

With six of the 18 clubs (33% of the total) under contract, the American brand Nike is the most represented sports equipment brand in the Bundesliga for the 2017-18 season, ahead of the German brand adidas (three clubs), the same as in 2016-17.

After Nike and adidas are the German sports equipment manufacturers Jako and Puma, as well as the Italian brand Lotto, each with two clubs under contract. In total, eight brands are represented in the Bundesliga in 2017-18, the same as in the previous season, including four German brands: adidas, Puma, Erima, and Jako. Eight out of 18 clubs (44%) are equipped by these four domestic brands.

In total, the equipment suppliers have allocated €117.9m to the Bundesliga clubs in 2017-18, 1.8% more than in 2016-17 (€115.8m). More than half of the total (52.2%) is solely provided by the contract between FC Bayern Munich and adidas (estimated €61.6m per season).
