Bundesliga: association of Borussia Dortmund passes 150,000 members, 2^nd place behind Bayern

The Borussia Dortmund (Bundesliga) association has crossed the 150,000 members mark, said the German club on 26/08/2017.

Detlef Steputat, 53 years old, the 150,000^th member of BV. Borussia 09 eV, was presented on Matchday 2 of the 2017-18 Bundesliga 2017-18 (Borussia Dortmund - Hertha BSC, 2-0) on Saturday 26/08/2017.

Borussia Dortmund is in second place in the Bundesliga with its 150,000 members (first division clubs only, data as of early 2017), behind FC Bayern Munich (more than 280,000), but ahead of FC Schalke 04 (more than 140,000 ), 1. FC Köln (95,000), Hamburger SV, and Borussia Mönchengladbach (approximately 75,000 members each), and then VfB Stuttgart (50,000).

Borussia Dortmund: from €30 to €120 per year to become a member

• Borussia Dortmund offers an "adult" membership card (over 18 years old) at the rate of €62 per year.
  • "Family" card: €120 per year.
  • Card for those under 18 years old: €30 per year.
• The club offers a lifetime subscription for €1,909 (in reference to the club's year of foundation in 1909).
