France: L'Equipe channel acquires TV rights for the UEFA qualifying matches of the 2018-2022 cycle

L'Equipe, a free-to-air TNT channel in France, has acquired, from UEFA, the broadcasting rights for the qualifying matches of the international competitions of all European teams (excluding France) for the 2018-2022 period, on 30/08/2017.

This agreement, signed via the CAA Eleven agency and effective from September 2018, includes the qualifying matches of all the European national teams for Euro 2020 and the 2022 World Cup and the Nations League (2018 -2022). They also include the delayed broadcast of the matches of the French national team.

The L'Equipe channel succeeds the pay-TV group Canal+, which acquired the rights to broadcast the Euro 2016 and 2018 World Cup qualifiers (excluding the French team) in France on 10/07/2014.
