MLS: Liberian Darlington Nagbe (Portland Timbers) signs autographs on Google+

The MLS (Major League Soccer) has held an autograph session with Darlington Nagbe, Liberian midfielder of the Portland Timbers franchise, via Google+, on the 23/09/2013. The event, organised through "Google Hangout" service, allowing users to live chat with the professional player and receive a digital autograph.

Darlington Nagbe was ranked No.1 of the "24 Under 24" list by the MLS on the 20/09/2013. This selection brings together the best 24 players of the 2013 season under 24 years old, according to five criteria: technics, tactics, physical, personality and potential.

To participate in the videoconference, users had to post a picture of themselves as supporters of a club to the league's Google+ community page. The most originals pictures were selected.

This "digital signing" was conducted with a tablet on which Darlington Nagbe signed the autographs. The photo was then sent by email to the participants in PDF format. He also answered several questions asked by users.
