Eire: Irish Noel King appointed interim manager after the resignation of Giovanni Trapattoni

Irishman Noel King has been appointed interim manager of Eire by the FAI (Football Association of Ireland), on the 23/09/2013. He takes over Italian Giovanni Trapattoni, who left his post on the 11/09/2013.

FAI's board of management stated that "it will take the appropriate time to appoint the best person to manage Ireland for the Euro 2016...
