"If you look at the numbers, we have a higher percentage of Danes becoming professional football players, then, say, the Premier League. And this creates a different competitive advantage. We have first team players who truly came up through our clubs. They are local products, they are truly connected to the community," said Claus Thomsen, CEO of the Danish Alka Superliga at the Soccerex Global Convention on 05/09/2017.

The 2017 edition of the Soccerex Global Convention is taking place from 04 to 06/09/2017 at the Manchester Central Convention Complex in Manchester (ENG).
