Paris Saint-Germain: Zlatan Ibrahimovic extends his contract until 2016 for €15m per year

Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has extended the contract that binds him to Paris Saint-Germain until June 2016, the Parisian club announced on the 24/09/2013. This extension is subject to a wage increase of € 1 million per year.

The player will receive €15m net per season, compared to €14m in 2012/13. Zlatan Ibrahimovic is the third highest paid player in the world, behind Real Madrid (SPA) striker Cristiano Ronaldo (€17m) and FC Barcelona (SPA) striker Lionel Messi (€16m).

Arrived on the 18/07/2012 for €20m from AC Milan (ITA), Zlatan Ibrahimovic won the France championship title with PSG in 2012/13 and finished top scorer with 30 goals. "I don't see a more ambitious club in Europe than Paris Saint-Germain. My wish is that Paris Saint-Germain are my last big Club. This club is like me: the dream is never big enough," said the Swedish player on the club's website, on the 24/09/2013.
