LaLiga Santander: Athletic Club Bilbao unveils virtual museum in the Estadio San Mamés

Athletic Club (LaLiga) has inaugurated a virtual museum within the San Mamés Barria (53,332 capacity), on 31/08/2017.

The 1,200 m2 museum contains 13 interactive sections and 11 audiovisual sections with nearly 600 videos. The Basque club has invested an estimated €3.5m into this project developed by Mediapro Exhibitions, a subsidiary of the audiovisual group Mediapro, which was responsible for the design of the museums of FC Barcelona and Real Madrid CF (LaLiga Santander).

"The museum will help us to define the club, in a way that makes sense to us and in the fashion that we wish to continue, as we are responsible for our contribution to its history," said Josu Urrutia, president of Athletic Club Bilbao, at the inauguration.
