Twitter: 14.67 million followers in total for the 20 Ligue 1 Conforama clubs (September 2017)

The 20 clubs in the 2017-18 Ligue 1 Conforama season have a cumulative total of 14.67 million followers on the social network Twitter, according to data recorded by News Tank Football on 01/09/2017. Ligue 1 ranks fourth in the European Top 5 leagues, behind LaLiga Santander, the Premier League, and the Serie A TIM, with an average of 733,325 followers per club.

Paris Saint-Germain became the first French club to exceed 5 million followers, up 413,230 (+ 8.7%) in the past month. Olympique de Marseille (2^nd, 2.35 million), AS Monaco (3^rd, 1.75 million), and Olympique Lyonnais (4^th, 1.29 million) also have more than one million followers.

At 22.1%, (from 20,670 to 25,248), Amiens SC is the Ligue 1 Conforama club which posted the best percentage growth on Twitter in August 2017.
