Facebook: Top 100 European clubs with the most fans (September 2017)

With 105.87 million fans, Real Madrid CF (LaLiga Santander) is the most followed European club on Facebook, according to data recorded by News Tank Football which establishes the Top 100 most popular European clubs on this social network as of 01/09/2017.

With 1.12 million new followers in August 2017, Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1 Conforama, 7^th in the Facebook list) is the club that recorded the biggest increase, in gross terms, in the Top 100, ahead of Real Madrid CF (+1.04 million Facebook fans) and Manchester City FC (+554,444). PSG became the ninth club in the ranking to exceed the 30 million fans in July 2017.

The Premier League is the most represented championship in the top 20 (7 clubs), followed by the Serie A TIM (4 clubs). LaLiga Santander (3 clubs) is third, with the Turkish Süper Lig being the only championship outside of the European Top 5 leagues to be represented in the top 20. The Bundesliga places two representatives in the top 20, and Ligue 1 Conforama one (PSG).
