Bundesliga: Infor (software) becomes IT -artner (3^rd level) of Borussia Dortmund for 2017-18

Infor, an American IT and software company, became the "software partner" of Borussia Dortmund (Bundesliga), on 30/08/2017. The duration of the partnership, in the 3^rd level in the sponsorship hierarchy of the club, has not been communicated. It was negotiated by the sports marketing agency Lagardère Sports.

As part of the agreement, Infor and Borussia Dortmund will "work closely together" in the areas of marketing, CRM, cloud computing, and finance. In addition, the US software firm gains visibility on the signage at Signal Iduna Park (81,359 capacity) and on the communication platforms of the club. A hospitality package is also included.

This is the first partnership signed by Infor with a professional football club. Infor is already a partner of Scuderia Ferrari (Formula 1), New Zealand Super Rugby Crusaders franchise (since February 2015), and a sponsor of the NBA franchise Brooklyn Nets (from 2017-18 to 2019-20).
