Peter Rice, CEO of Fox Networks, promoted to president of 21^st Century Fox, will combine the roles

Peter Rice, chairman and CEO of Fox Networks Group, has been promoted to president of 21^st Century Fox, announced the parent company of the production and distribution company 20^th Century Fox Films and the TV Fox networks on 06/09/2017.

He will hold both positions, and will continue to oversee all subsidiaries of Fox Networks Group, including Fox Sports. Peter Rice has held various executive positions within the 21^st Century Fox group, particularly in the TV affiliates Fox Networks Group, 21^st Century Fox audiovisual industry, and Fox Broadcasting Company, a television network.

"In addition to working with 21CF leadership on key strategic initiatives, Mr. Rice will continue to serve as Chairman and CEO for Fox Networks Group, a role he has held since 2012. In this capacity, he will continue to oversee Fox Broadcasting Company including FOX Sports," said 21^st Century Fox, which is currently being acquired of the British audiovisual group Sky (see below).
