"We are planning a cost of around €4,000 per seat for the new stadium. Some stadiums are being built for €500m or €600m, but our project in Berlin will be much more modest," said Klaus Teichert, CEO of Hertha BSC Stadion GmbH, to the German daily Berliner Morgenpost on 30/08/2017.

Hertha BSC Stadion GmbH was founded on 07/07/2017 by the Hertha BSC (Bundesliga). It is a wholly owned subsidiary of the club and dedicated to its new stadium project. The mission of this company is "to work with the Senate to discuss the economic, legal, and technical aspects of building a new stadium or renovating the Olympiastadion in Berlin. These discussions should culminate in spring 2018," Hertha BSC said on 07/07/2017.

The Berlin club presented a new stadium project (55,000 seats) to be built in the Olympiapark, near the Olympiastadion (77,166 seats), the current stadium of the club, on 30/03/2017.
