Olympics: Paris to host the 2024 Summer Games, Los Angeles the 2028 edition (official)

Paris (FRA) will host the Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2024, and the next edition, in 2028, will take place in Los Angeles (California, USA). This is the result of the vote by show of hands at the 131st session of the IOC, in Lima (PÉR) on Wednesday 13/09/2017.

The Olympics in Paris will be held from Friday 02 to Sunday 18/08/2024, then the Paralympic Games from Wednesday 04 to Sunday 15/09/2024.

The 58 matches of the men's and women's football tournaments will be played in eight stadiums in France, including the Parc des Princes (Paris) where the two finals will take place on 16 and 17/08/2024.
