Spain is the only country in the Top 5 (alongside Germany, the United Kingdom, France, and Italy) where no Europa League game is broadcast on a free-to-air channel during the 2015-2018 cycle. The audiovisual group Mediapro and the pay-TV group beIN Media Group hold the broadcasting rights in Spain to the Europa League for the 2015-2018 cycle.

The matches are broadcast on the pay-TV channels beIN Sports España, which is a joint venture between Mediapro and beIN Media Group.

This feature unique to Spain is expected to change from 2018-19, with the other Top 5 countries, except Germany and possibly Italy, opting for the wholly pay-TV system for the Europa League (see below).
