"The FC Barcelona (LaLiga Santander) board of directors has approved the forecast budget corresponding to the 2017-18 season, which includes a record turnover of €897m," announced the Catalan club on 13/09/2017.

This would represent an increase of almost 27% compared to the €708m in turnover achieved by FC Barcelona during the 2016-17 season.

"The FC Barcelona board of directors has approved the closure of the accounts for the 2016-17 season. This year's results represent historic revenues for the club of €708m, €13m more than the projected figure, which is a profit of €18m net of taxes," the club said on 17/07/2017.

  • The ordinary general meeting of the socios of FC Barcelona is scheduled on 21 or 22/10/2017 at the Palau Blaugrana in Barcelona.
    • The exact day will be set when LaLiga will have scheduled FC Barcelona - Malaga (Matchday 9 of LaLiga Santander). The association of socios is set the same day as a home game of Barça, to ensure a better rate of participation in this meeting.
