LaLiga launches the LaLiga Official Data Centre platform in partnership with Perform Group

LaLiga and Perform Group, a British group specialising in the production of sports content on digital platforms, extended and expanded their five-year partnership until 2022, on 04/09/2017. As of the 2017-18 season, LaLiga is launching a new statistical platform, "LaLiga Official Data Centre". Opta, a subsidiary of Perform Group, already supplies data to the technical staff of LaLiga Santander and LaLiga 1|2|3 club via the "Mediacoach" tools.

"This new platform will be responsible for maximising the use of statistics and data from LaLiga competitions for media, broadcasters, and betting operators. 'LaLiga Official Data Center' will use Perform's expertise in collection, distribution and marketing sports data through its Opta and RunningBall brands," said Perform Group on 04/09/2017.

The platform includes three LaLiga competitions, LaLiga Santander, LaLiga 1|2|3, and the LaLiga Iberdrola, (Spanish women's first division), and three competitions managed by the RFEF, the Copa del Rey, the Supercopa de España, and the Segunda División B (Spanish third division).
