Premier League: attendance for Matchday 5 of 2017-18, Man United - Everton draws 75,042 spectators

Matchday 5 of the 2017-18 Premier League drew an average attendance of 39,090 spectators per match, from 15 to 17/09/2017. The average stadium fill rate was 93%.

Manchester United FC - Everton FC (4-0), on Sunday 17/09/2017, drew the biggest crowd of the weekend, with 75,042 spectators at Old Trafford (capacity: 76,643 seats; fill rate of 99%).

Only one game drew less than 20,000 spectators: AFC Bournemouth - Brighton & Hove Albion FC (2-1), at the Vitality Stadium (11,360 seats). The average attendance of the English top division is currently 37,907 spectators per game on the season, for an average fill rate of 95%.

  • The 20 Premier League clubs posted an average attendance of 35,819 spectators per games in 2016-17, for a stadium fill rate of 96%.
