Premier League: Angry Birds (mobile games) shirt sleeve sponsor of Everton FC from 2017-18

Angry Birds, a video game on mobile platforms from the Finnish gaming studio Rovio Entertainment has become the shirt sleeve sponsor of Everton FC (Premier League) "for several seasons", announced the English club on 17/09/2017. The Angry Birds logo has appeared on the club's sleeve since Manchester United FC - Everton FC match (4-0, Matchday 5 of the Premier League) on 17/09/2017.

Angry Birds has the status of Lead Partner, in the first level in the sponsorship hierarchy of Everton. "Since launching in December 2009 Angry Birds has become a worldwide phenomenon with more than 3.7billion game downloads. The partnership with Rovio Entertainment, a Finnish-based company, will open a range of marketing opportunities to new global audiences for both parties," said Everton FC.
