Matchday 4 of the 2017-18 LaLiga Santander season drew an average of 23,427 spectators per game, from 15 to 18/09/2017. The average stadium fill rate is 76%.

Club Atlético de Madrid - Málaga CF (1-0), on Saturday 16/09/2017 (kick-off 20:45 CET), drew the best crowd of the weekend, with 62 906 fans present for the inauguration of the new stadium in Madrid, the Wanda Metropolitano (capacity: 68,000 seats; fill rate of 93%).

Five games drew less than 15,000 spectators, with only two games drawing more than 45,000. The average attendance of the Spanish championship is currently 26,339 spectators per game on the season, for an average fill rate of 72%.

  • The 20 LaLiga Santander clubs posted an average of 28,109 spectators per game in 2016-17, for a record fill rate of 74%.
