Women's World Cup: France 2019 now has a logo and a slogan, "Dare to Shine"

"French women's football is at a crossroads in its history, so this competition is a launching pad, a key moment, a turning point for the discipline and for women's sport in general: 'Le Moment de Briller' ('Dare to Shine')" announced FIFA and the FFF in presenting the slogan and logo of the Women’s World Cup France 2019 at the Musée de l'Homme in Paris (FRA) on 19/09/2017.

"Reinforcing the foundations for the development of women's football is one of FIFA's top priorities. 750 million viewers watched the 2015 Women's World Cup in Canada. With France 2019, the goal is to exceed 1 billion viewers worldwide," said Gianni Infantino, FIFA president.

"In less than two years’ time, France will, for the first time in its history, host the biggest international competition in women’s football: the FIFA Women’s World Cup. We are proud and honoured to be doing so, as it reflects our firm commitment to nurturing women’s football and its development, a goal that the French Football Federation has been pursuing through the National Plan for the Promotion of Women’s Football, which it launched…
