Besiktas: Turkish Federation imposes four home games behind closed doors to the Istanbul club

Besiktas JK (Super Lig, Turkey) will play four home games behind closed doors, the TFF (Turkish Football Federation) announced, on the 26/09/2013. This decision follows the incidents that took place during the meeting Besiktas-Galatasaray at Atatürk Olympic Stadium on the 09/22/2013.

The referee was forced to stop the match at the 92^nd minute, after the supporters invaded the field, while Galatasaray were leading 2-1. "Twenty people went into remand. Twenty others identified by the cameras in the stadium, are wanted," said Muammer Güler, Turkish Minister of the Interior, on the 25/09/2013.

TFF has criticised Besiktas for insufficient security measures put in place for the Istanbul derby. The club must also pay a fine of 70,000 Turkish pounds (about €25,000).
