UEFA: Congress confirms Andrea Agnelli and Ivan Gazidis (ECA) as members of the Executive Committee

"UEFA’s member associations ratified two representatives of the ECA to sit on the UEFA Executive Committee as full members for a four-year term of office: Andrea Agnelli (Juventus FC, Serie A TIM) and Ivan Gazidis (Arsenal FC, Premier League), UEFA announced at the end of its 13^th extraordinary congress, held in Geneva (SUI) on 20/09/2017.

Andrea Agnelli (ITA) was appointed ECA chairman by the executive board of the Association for the 2017-2019 period, itself elected during the General Assembly in Geneva (SUI) on 05/09/2017. The ECA appointed Andrea Agnelli and Ivan Gazidis (ENG) to represent the European clubs on the UEFA Executive Committee on 05/09/2017.

The UEFA Congress, meanwhile, elected Alexey Sorokin (RUS) by acclamation to the post of European member of the FIFA Council for a term to 2021, indicated UEFA.
