Matchday 5 of the 2017-18 Bundesliga season drew an average of 37,754 spectators per game on 19 and 20/09/2017. The average stadium fill rate was 82%.

FC Schalke 04 - FC Bayern Munich (0-3), on Tuesday 19/09/2017, drew the best crowd of the matchday, with 62,271 spectators at the Veltins Arena (capacity: 62,271, or a 100% fill rate) in Gelsenkirchen.
