Matchday 5 of the 2017-18 LaLiga Santander season drew an average of 30,387 spectators per game on 19 to 21/09/2017. The average stadium fill rate was 67%.

Real Madrid CF - Real Betis Balompié (0-1), on Wednesday 20/09/2017 (kick-off 22:00 CET), was the game that drew the largest crowd, with 61,757 spectators at the Santiago-Bernabeu (capacity: 80,000, a fill rate of 77%). FC Barcelona - SD Eibar (6-1), on Tuesday 19/09/2017 (kick-off 22:00 CET) drew a crowd of 49,693 spectators, the lowest in the Spanish championship at the Camp Nou (capacity: 99,354) since the 2008-09 season.

Five matches had fewer than 35,000 spectators, but none had a stadium fill rate above 85%. The average attendance of the Spanish championship reached 33,936 spectators per game after five matchdays, with an average fill rate of 71%.
