Ligue 1 Conforama: first light show at Groupama Stadium for Olympique Lyonnais - Dijon FCO

"For the home game against Dijon FCO (3-3, Matchday 7 of the 2017-18 Ligue 1 Conforama, on 23/09/2017), the fans will be able to appreciate the pre-match experience with the first light show of the Groupama Stadium (capactiy 59,286)," said Olympique Lyonnais on 21/09/2017.

"The LED technology has replaced the old stadium lighting (Sodium lamps), which were uniquely used in France. 260 LED spotlights have been installed to allow total coverage of the playing surface. The lights in the stands have also been renovated with 66 LED projectors installed, which will enable the Groupama Stadium to maximise the spectator experience and offer the public unrivalled light shows at every event," said Olympique Lyonnais.

A second more elaborate version of the light show has been proposed by the club for the next match at the Groupama Stadium against AS Monaco, on Friday 13/10/2017 (Matchday 9 of Ligue 1 Conforama, kick-off at 20:45 CET), with scenic lighting in addition to the stadium lighting.
