Women's Champions League: Eurosport to acquire worldwide rights to two German teams in 2013/14

Sports pay-TV channel Eurosport has acquired the exclusive worldwide broadcasting rights to Champions League home games of German women's teams Vfl Wolfsburg and 1.FFC Turbine Potsdam, the company announced on the 27/09/2013.

Eurosport will also broadcast some away matches of the two clubs, the TV channel announced in its press release. Wolfsburg won the 2012/13 edition of the UEFA Women's Champions League, Potsdam won the 2004/05 and 2009/10 editions.

In terms of women's football, Eurosport has broadcast the World Cup and the Euro since 2003, as well as the Champions League since 2011. The TV channel has also acquired domestic and international rights to the women's Bundesliga for the 2013-2016 period, on the 29/08/2013.
