China: Super Sports acquires the digital TV rights to the UEFA Nations League (2018-2022)

Super Sports Media, a Chinese media group, has acquired the exclusive rights to broadcast, on digital platforms in China, the UEFA Nations League for the 2018-2022period, on 21/09/2017.

""UEFA today confirmed the final competition rules and regulations for the UEFA Nations League, less than a year before the first match is played on 06/092018. The new logo for the tournament was also unveiled (see below)," UEFA announced after the meeting of its Executive Committee in Nyon (SUI) on 20/09/2017. The formula for the Nations League, which is characterized by promotion and relegation, will distribute the 55 national teams of the member federations into four leagues.

The Chinese sports and entertainment multinational Wuhan DDMC Culture Co reached an agreement for the acquisition of Super Sports Media on 12/07/2017. Super Sports Media Group holds the broadcast rights, in China and Macao, to the Premier League until 2018-19.
