The 98 clubs of the European Top 5 leagues for the 2017-18 season have an average of 21,856 season ticket holders per club. This figure represents 56% of the total capacity of the 98 stadiums of the Top 5 clubs this season.

With an average of 29,534 subscribers per club, LaLiga Santander is the Top 5 league with the highest average number of season ticket holders in 2017-18. The Spanish league is ahead of the Premier League (27,025), the Bundesliga (26,180), the Serie A TIM (14,145), and the Ligue 1 Conforama (12,829). LaLiga Santander is also the league where the season ticket / stadium capacity ratio is the highest, as subscribers occupy 77% of the seats available in Spanish stadiums. This ratio is only 36% in Italy, the lowest percentage of the Top 5 leagues.

With 85,000 subscribers in 2017-18, FC Barcelona (LaLiga Santander) is the club with the most season tickets, ahead of Real Madrid CF (LaLiga Santander, 62,000).
