Arsenal FC (Premier League) achieved a record turnover of £423.9m (€485.7m on 31/05/2017) for the 2016-17 fiscal year (from 01/06/2016 to 31/05/2017), up 20.6% compared to 2016 (£350.6m, or €456.2m at the time), announced the club on 28/09/2017.

The increase in the club's income is mainly due to the new Premier League TV rights agreement, with the start of the new 2016-2019 cycle. The club's audiovisual revenue, in all competitions, rose from £140.6m (€183m) in 2016 to €198.6m (€227.5m) in 2017, an increase of 41.3%. Commercial revenue was also up 10.4%, from £82.3m (£107.1m) in 2016 to £90.9m (€104.1m) in 2017, while matchday revenue was stable at £100m.

The operating profit of the club was £51.98m (€59.6m), compared to £2.9m (€3.8m) in the 2015-16 fiscal year. The net profit was £35.3m (€40.4m), compared to £1.6m (€2.1m) in 2016.

The club's total wage bill was £199.4m (€228.4m), which represented 47% of its turnover, compared to 55.2% in 2016 (£195.4m, or €254.3m).
