France:LFP extends partnership with YouTube for the 2017-18 season

The LFP is continuing its partnership with YouTube, the video sharing platform, for the 2017-18 season, announced the French league on 28/09/2017. According to the agreement, which began in 2012, the league has four channels on the platform of the Alphabet group (ex-Google) -- Ligue 1 Conforama, Ligue 1 Conforama Official, Domino's League 2, and the Coupe de la Ligue -- on which users can access summaries of matches, goals, highlights, interviews, and the best moments of the championship.

The LFP claimed more than 900,000 subscribers over the four channels, whose audience counted 18 million views in August 2017, 2.5 times higher than in August 2016.

"The LFP channel on YouTube is now n° 1 ahead of all other sports organisation channels in France in terms of subscribers, and YouTube has spread the Ligue 1 Conforama outside our borders. After the arrival of Neymar at Paris Saint-Germain, Brazil became the second country after France in terms of views for the LFP since the start of the season," added the LFP.
