Facebook: 72.7 million fans in total for the 18 Bundesliga clubs (October 2017)

The 18 clubs in the 2017-18 Bundesliga season had a cumulative 72.7 million fans on the social network Facebook, according to data recorded by News Tank Football on 01/10/2017. The Bundesliga is the fourth most popular European Top 5 league on Facebook, behind the Premier League, LaLiga Santander, and the Serie A TIM, and has an average of 4 million fans per club.

FC Bayern Munich remains the most followed German club, with more than 43.6 million fans, and has seen the biggest increase in the Bundesliga with 91,300 more fans (+0.2%) compared to 01/09/2017.

RB Leipzig was the Bundesliga club with the highest percentage growth, with +2.1% of fans (from 327,263 to 333,991) on Facebook for the month of September 2017.
