Facebook: 49.5 million fans in total for the 20 Ligue 1 Conforama clubs (October 2017)

The 20 clubs in the 2017-18 Ligue 1 Conforama have more than 49.5 million fans on the social network Facebook, according to data recorded by News Tank Football on 01/10/2017. Ligue 1 Conforama is the least followed European Top 5 League on Facebook, with just under 2.5 million fans on average per club.

FC Girondins de Bordeaux posted the best percentage growth in the Ligue 1 Conforama (+10.3%) compared to 01/09/2017, and passed LOSC Lille into 6^th with 796,176 fans in total.

Paris Saint-Germain, the first French club to cross the 30 million fans mark in July 2017, recorded an increase of 328,343 fans in September (+1%). PSG comprises 64% of the fans of the Ligue 1 Conforama clubs; no other club in the Top 5 dominates its league this way on Facebook.

14 of the 20 clubs in Ligue 1 Conforama saw their number of fans decline in September 2017 (see below). This decrease can be explained by a "cleanup" operated by Facebook, which removes the "likes" given by "bots" (robots) or by inactive or even deactivated accounts.
