Italy: Poste Italiane and Goleador (confectionery) partners of the FIGC until the end of 2018

Poste Italiane, the Italian state postal service, has become a top sponsor of the FIGC until the end of 2018, announced the Italian Football Federation on 02/10/2017. This is a second level partnership in the sponsorship hierarchy of the FIGC.

"Our company, with its very strong territorial presence, will allow the national team to feel the support and warmth of the Italian people, to accompany them on their way (during the 2018 World Cup), with the hope of achieving brilliant results together," said Matteo Del Fante, CEO of Poste Italiane.

In addition, Goleador, an Italian brand of sweets products, has also become an official partner of the FIGC on 03/10/2017. This is a fifth level agreement in the sponsorship hierarchy of the Italian Football Federation.

"Squadra azzurra" is second in qualifying Group G for the 2018 World Cup in Russia, after eight matchdays (19 points), behind Spain (22 points). The Italians will play Macedonia at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino on Friday 06/10/2017, and then travel to Albania on Monday 09/10/2017.
